The Eddy Showcase has been formed 40 years ago on a school in Schiedam. After that period of Rockin’ Roll music it took till 2019….
….’Eddy Feelgood’ was trying to get a band together with his mate ‘Jake Vice’ on guitar, later on bass. Together they started their school band. ‘Double D’ joined late 2019. He picked up his guitar from the wall and tuned in on the groovy Rock the Showcase already produced. Back then, ‘Eddy Feelgood’ was playing on drums and vocals, But we decided we needed a drummer, Hello ‘Rocking Ronnie’. ‘Double D’ needed someone to lean on’. Hello ‘The Gouverner’, This was the sound we where looking for (coming out of the tube amps we could only dream of). The band was formed. Late 2024 Jake Vice decided to leave the band. After a successfull audition ‘The Rock’ came along adding that fantastic bass sound we could all lean on.
We will keep the Rock ’n Roll alive with songs from:
The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Fatal Flowers, Herman Brood, The Black Crowes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johny Cash, John Hiatt, Elvis, Bruce Springsteen, and many many more….
